Short version: the Decidely app collects nothing at all. This website's waitlist collects an email address, only if you choose to give us one, and you can have it deleted at any time.
Decidely is built to work entirely on your device. There is no account to create,
no analytics software of any kind, and no network client in the app at all —
the release build ships with zero uses-permission entries, which you're
welcome to verify yourself by inspecting the app's manifest.
Settings (like your theme preference) and Life Wheel check-in history are stored
only in local storage on your own device, using Android's standard
SharedPreferences mechanism. This data is never transmitted anywhere,
which means we never receive it, never see it, and have no way to access it even
if we wanted to. Uninstalling the app deletes it completely.
Because nothing leaves your device, there is no data to disclose in a breach, no account to compromise, and no profile to sell. This isn't a policy promise — it's a consequence of the app simply not having a server to send anything to.
If you sign up for the waitlist on this site, we collect the email address you provide and nothing else. Specifically:
This site loads no external fonts, scripts, or trackers — the one font it uses is self-hosted, the same file the app itself ships with. Opening your browser's network tab while browsing this page is the easiest way to confirm that.
The waitlist form is processed by a third-party form service. That service acts strictly as a processor on our behalf under this policy — it does not use your email for its own purposes. If you're in the EU/EEA, our processor arrangement includes the appropriate data-transfer safeguards.
Decidely is not directed at children, and the waitlist is not intended for use by anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
If this policy changes in a way that matters — for example, if a future version of the app ever adds analytics or a server — we'll update this page and the date above, and reflect it honestly in the app stores' data-safety disclosures too.
